The Skills Center provides academic instruction and development of life skills through athletics. Formed in 2008, the 501(c) 3 nonprofit sport - based youth development organization enhances positive life skills for children and teens in the Tampa Bay area. The Skills Center provides training in basketball, golf, tennis, baseball, football and soccer through its after school camps, summer programs, sport leagues, skill development clinics and an AAU team.
The organization's programs and activities promote character, responsibility, respect, integrity, teamwork and sportsmanship. The Skills Center teaches kids how to transfer the skills they learn through sports into other areas of their lives, and most importantly, have a fun learning experience that will last a lifetime.
We invite you to come and experience the difference!
